Shops will see good ROI by printing up to 550 square-feet per hour (banners). The S60600 began shipping this month.

Get lots of ink versatility with this cutting-edge machine that includes an all-new UltraChrome GS3 red solvent ink for greater color gamut, and the option for white or metallic silver ink that can be mixed with other colors. Do You Know How to Reset an Epson Cartridge Chip?

  When you use a Epson sublimation printer, the biggest cost is paying for new printer cartridges.Epson has manufactured the majority of their inkjet cartridges with “smart chips” since 2000. These chips transmit a signal to the printer when empty. They will also “remember” that the printer cartridge is empty when it has been refilled forcing the consumer to learn how to reset an Epson printer cartridge to use the newly filled cartridge.Today, we will discuss how to reset the Epson cartridge chip to refill the ink cartridge.

  There are the common ways for people to reset the cartridge chip, and then we will talk about them one by one.

  1. Using the Epson printer cartridge reset tool

  A Epson chip reset tool is a small plastic piece that fits against the cartridge, it not only used to allow consumers to refill cartridges, but can also permit cartridges to be used until truly empty. Here are the steps.

   Step 1: Take the ink cartridge away from the Epson printer.

   Step 2:  Aligning the cartridge and the marks at the base of the reset tool.

  Step 3: Press the reset tool pins firmly against the chip contacts on the cartridge for several seconds. A blinking red light will indicate that there is solid contact between the cartridge and the device.

  Step 4: Keep the tool pressed against the cartridge until the green LED on the tool illuminates and begins to blink. This will indicate that the cartridge has been reset.

  2. Resetting Epson cartridge with software

  A freeware program called SSC Service Utility enables users to download and install software that helps to manage their Epson printer. The software offers several functions, one of which is resetting the ink cartridge chip. Other settings allow users to freeze the internal ink counters or to reset the internal ink counters. It supports over 100 Epson printer models, but some printers may not respond to the commands from the software. You can also use Cracked Cartridge Chip if you don't know how to use the software.
