1. Scrub the head surface with swab every two hours.(From inside to outside). After scrubbed, press ”INK” button for 3 seconds to clean automatically.

2. Please follow the head maintenance in training materials when finished the job everyday.

3. Steep the head surface with moisture when you finished the job everyday.

a.Put non-dust cloth into a container. Fill moisture liquid into it.( Moisture should flood the non-dust cloth.)

b. Put the container on the platform. Move the carriage above the container.

c, Raise the platform to let the head surface soak into the moisture.

Epson DX5 Print Head VS GEN5 Print Head, Which One is Better?

GEN5 print heads becomes more and more popular recently years, and it is especially common seen in a UV flat printer. Then compared with Epson DX5 print heads, which one is better?

The DX5 print heads

Advantages:

1. Print effect ranked first.

2. The price is relatively cheap.

3. The nozzle can print 5mm radian products.

4. Suitable equipment type is broad, the consumable material such as the sublimation ink is easy to buy, the maintenance cost is low.

Disadvantages:

1. The EPSON DX5 print head uses ABS material, the nozzle's anti-corrosion and fluency is not so good.

2. The DX5 print head can only print 20,000 square meters, the can be only used for 6-10 months, spray white ink will be easier to plug the head.
3. The printing speed of the nozzle is reduced and the encryption channel appears.

GEN5 print heads

Advantages:

1, Ricoh G5 Nozzle is a real industrial-grade nozzle, it was developed based on the technology of Ricoh G4 nozzle by the Japanese Ricoh Company. It uses closed stainless steel floor, so that the nozzle with anti-collision, scratch-resistant function, no longer worry about the nozzle was smashed, or scraped. Disadvantages:

1. The price is too high
